The idea of XARM is that it combines arm wrestling (which, let’s face it, peaked in popularity with “Over the Top”) and a really lame, stationary version of MMA. The two men are tied together, sometimes with duct tape, then they punch each other wearing MMA gloves. If that sounds like the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard, then congratulations, your brain works properly.
In the press release announcing the heavyweight championship, Art Davie calls it “the most intense 3 minutes in sports.” Really makes you glad this guy isn’t still running the UFC, doesn’t it?

Bas Rutten and Daryn Jones Settle Their Beef

You might remember earlier this year Daryn Jones created this hilarious Bas Rutten Lethal Street Fighting parody video - which Bas didn’t find so funny, and created his own angry video response.
Anyway, they decided to put their differences aside and spend a day hangin’ in Toronto, culminating with a very cathartic trip to see The Women. Best part: Daryn asks Bas for advice about this chick he likes who seems to be into another guy. Bas suggests, “you just grab any kind of knife, kitchen knife, you just stab him in the liver, and he’ll bleed to death on the inside.”
